Below we highlight the main advantages of having your scans done at The Open MRI Abu Dhabi Center.
The Doppler Ultrasound Scan is one of the most commonly used medical diagnostic imaging for pregnancy because it is a safe, painless, and non-invasive procedure. It is used to check for normal blood flow in a pregnant woman and her unborn baby without radiation exposure. Yet this test is also used for many other cases and conditions that are restricting or blocking blood flow. The ultrasound machine, also called sonography, uses sound waves to create images of structures inside the body. Adding Doppler, the screening can also show blood flow. A Doppler Ultrasound Scan is a very common type of ultrasound test that relies on sound waves to produce images of organs, tissues, and blood vessels within the body to help in the diagnosis of heart problems, kidney diseases, tumors, poorly functioning valves, and more.
At the open mri abu dhabi, our radiologists and doctors will ensure you have a comfortable examination experience using one of the world’s most advanced ultrasound machines. For the first time, you can enjoy highly luxurious sonar radiology that feels like a private ultrasound scan experience while paying the usual ultrasound price. Our goal is to provide clear, accurate scans while keeping your comfort as a top priority.
Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scan is a non-invasive, safe, and friendly diagnostic imaging procedure. This technology enables detailed clear scans without the use of an Xray or surgery. The MRI machine uses radio waves and a magnetic field for tissue and organ screening to help in the diagnosis of many diseases. MRI can detect many conditions such as tumors, cancer, multiple sclerosis (MS), dementia, and more. Moreover, in some cases, MRI can detect tumors that CT scan failed to and can provide more precise images. MRI is also much more sensitive than mammography as it can detect invasive breast cancers sooner and can rule out suspicious abnormalities from the image. However, the scan experience may be uncomfortable for many because the screening may require the entire body to enter a closed capsule, which is called a closed MRI.
Whenever you are requested to undergo a breast scan, brain MRI scan, or full body MRI scan, an open MRI is a better choice. However, you should always consult your doctor before reserving your radiology.
